GCW provided civil engineering services for the development of a 435,000 sq. ft. retail center on a 39-acre parcel at the southwest corner of Grand Central Parkway and Bonneville Avenue. Included, as part of the scope of work, was the design of the infrastructure for this development including parking lot, sanitary, storm drain, water distribution, fire protection, power, gas, etc. GCW provided surveying, mapping, drainage analyses, and traffic study. Also included was the design of a non-signalized intersection with median modification. The traffic study included traffic projections and signal warrant/capacity/LOS/queue storage analyses for over 25 study intersections, review of planned regional improvements, site access recommendations for patron and truck traffic, on-site circulation evaluations including truck turning path analyses, and special taxi staging channelization design.
