GCW provided construction management/ administration support for the
improvements between Hualapai Way and Charleston Blvd, including widening to
the inside with a new concrete travel lane for both northbound and southbound
lanes and new (inside) median and concrete barrier rail construction. Minor storm
drain construction consisted of new drop inlets and modifications to the existing
system. ITS facilities were installed including pullboxes, conduit, and fiber optic
lines; soundwalls were constructed at various locations; and a non-motorized trail
system was constructed between Sahara Avenue and Charleston Boulevard.
Construction administration support services included quality assurance,
construction observation, RFI response and coordination, shop drawing review,
and submittal review.
