Civil and structural designs for 1.3 million sf addition to existing Las Vegas Convention Center Exhibit Hall including a 300,000 sf meeting room building spanning (100 feet+/-) across Desert Inn Road to connect exhibit hall facilities. Addition includes 2-story exhibit halls designed with capability to support AASHTO HS-20 Truck Loading or 300 psf exhibition floor load on both ground level and second floor. In addition to complex structural designs, drainage considerations required conveying off-site flows through the site to avoid flooding convention center. Drainage designs included 2,500 lf of 72-inch RCP, 650 lf of 66-inch RCP, 400 lf of 48-inch RCP, 80-foot long trench drain with 6-foot by 15-foot grate, and two 6-foot by 15-foot bubbler discharge junction structures. Provided topographic survey and improvement plans.
