In 1995, Pulte/Del Webb retained GCW to provide master planning, engineering design, and team coordination for this 5,000-acre community. GCW acted as the client’s agent in identifying large blocks of suitable BLM land located near the Las Vegas valley, which would be eligible for a land exchange. Area-wide transportation planning studies and a master traffic study were conducted to determine the traffic demands to evaluate street network scenarios and alternatives. The GCW team prepared the master conceptual drainage study, effluent management plan, and water distribution and sewer plans.
